This policy explains what information Anson Electrical & Remodeling collects when you use this website or contact us about work, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Anson Electrical & Remodeling is a licensed electrical, building, and plumbing contractor serving Northern Virginia. Our mailing address is 12150 Mente Road, Manassas, VA 20112, and our phone number is (703) 577-4505. This policy covers ansonelectricalandremodeling.com and the quote and booking forms hosted on it.

Information you give us

When you fill out a quote request, book a diagnostic visit, or ask a question through this site, we collect the details you enter. Depending on the form, that includes:

• Your name
• Your email address and phone number
• The service address, city, and ZIP code for the work
• Whatever you tell us about the project in the message field
• Your consent to be contacted, where a form asks for it

If you call us or send a text, we keep a record of that conversation so the person who picks up next knows what was already discussed. If we do work for you, we also keep the ordinary records a contractor keeps: quotes, scope notes, invoices, permit and inspection paperwork, and job photos.

Information collected automatically

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and move through our pages. It sets cookies and records things like which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, the site or search that referred you, your device and browser type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use this in aggregate to see which pages are useful and which are not. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Calls and text messages

If you give us your phone number and consent to be contacted, we may call or text you about your request, your quote, or a scheduled visit. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can ask us to stop calling by telling us on the phone or in writing. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop the messages we need to send about work already scheduled.

Who we share information with

We share your information only where it is needed to run the business:

• Our software providers. Our website, forms, and customer records run on GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), and our site analytics run on Google Analytics. These providers process the data on our behalf.
• People doing the work. Employees, subcontractors, and suppliers get the details they need to quote, deliver, or complete your job, and nothing more.
• Permitting and inspection authorities. Where a job requires a permit, the county or municipality receives the information the application calls for.
• When the law requires it. We may disclose information to comply with a legal obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

Cookies and your browser

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Ours support analytics and basic site function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of this site behave.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as it takes to respond and for a reasonable period afterward in case you come back to us. We keep job records, including quotes, invoices, and permit paperwork, for as long as we need them for warranty, tax, insurance, and legal purposes.

Security

Our site is served over an encrypted connection, and customer records sit behind password-protected accounts with our software providers. No website or database is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that a determined third party will never gain access, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong
• Delete information we no longer need to keep
• Stop sending you marketing calls, texts, or email

Children

This site is meant for homeowners and businesses hiring a contractor. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

Other sites we link to

Some pages link to sites we do not control, such as our Google listing. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will post the revised policy here and update the effective date at the top.
