As a lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, Brad attended Thomas A. Edison High located in Alexandria Virginia, and currently lives in Manassas Va. Brad's first job after graduation was in construction and he’s been helping homeowners ever since.
As a young man, Brad was a competitive swimmer and worked as a lifeguard where he learned about dedication to his craft and a strong work ethic. In High School, Brad was the starting tight end on the record-setting 2001 Football Team and played Lacrosse as a defender. He now enjoys coaching his son and daughter's little league teams, riding four-wheelers, and Fishing for Large Catfish or Bass.
Started Working as a Contractor in 2003
What's a better way to learn about something than to break it first? Brad's first job out as an adult was doing demolition work using heavy equipment as well as by hand. His first “professional contractor” job was with a commercial contractor building custom shelving and flooring for retail stores. After a few years of doing commercial work, he started working with a craft homebuilding builder creating one-off homes and renovations.

Sherve McGonegal (Falls Church Virginia) is one of the oldest and most highly respected electrical and remodeling companies in Northern Virginia. He eventually rose up the ranks to become their lead remodeling contractor and electrician.
Anson Electrical and Remodeling was founded out of the experiences Brad had in his other Jobs. He always thought that business should be done the same way he did it for family and friends. So he built an entire company around the idea of treating each job like he was doing it for a family member by delivering high-quality work at a good price in as short a period of time as possible so they could enjoy their homes again.
