Master Bathroom Remodel in Prince William County: Before and After
A builder-grade master bath that had aged out: a bulky drop-in garden tub, a cramped shower stall, and beige tile everywhere. We rebuilt it section by section. Here is each one, before and after.
The shower
The old shower was a small framed-glass stall with dated square tile and a plastic pan - the kind of shower you get through rather than enjoy. It came out entirely. In its place is a full walk-in shower behind clear glass, tiled floor to ceiling: a marble-look surround, a deep navy herringbone back wall, a marble mosaic floor, and a recessed niche so nothing sits on the ledge.
The tub
The original was a drop-in garden tub sunk into a big tiled deck - a lot of floor space spent on a tub nobody used, and a lot of tile to clean. We took the deck out and set a freestanding soaker tub in the same window alcove, with a floor-mounted filler beside it. The wall came back in a deep teal above a marble-look wainscot, so the tub reads as the centerpiece instead of the leftover.
The water closet
The private toilet room is the part of a bathroom people skip, and it shows. This one still had the almond toilet and the beige tile the house was built with. It got the same treatment as the rest of the room: a new white toilet, the marble-look tile carried straight through, and clean paint. Small room, same standard.

Who built it
This bathroom was built by Anson Electrical & Remodeling, a family-owned company that has worked in Northern Virginia for 20+ years. Founder Brad Anson - a Virginia Master Electrician (License #2705178102) and Class B Builder - sets the standards the team works to, on every job, big or small.
The job ran the way all of ours do: a consultation, then a written proposal with scope, timeline, and cost before any demolition started, with permits pulled by us where the work required them and a final walkthrough at the end. A named project manager ran it, and the work was done by our own licensed in-house team, not anonymous subcontractors carrying the Anson name.
